Welcome to the Dorset Teaching School Alliance website.  We are a relatively new Teaching School Alliance (established in March 2016), but we have been working together as a partnership of schools for 25 years (the Dorchester Area Schools Partnership – DASP).  Our alliance consists of fourteen first schools, three middle schools, an upper school and a learning centre.  We also collaborate closely with the Dorset Studio School and with neighbouring Teaching School Alliance, TADSS (Teaching School Alliance of Dorset Special Schools).

Our aim is to develop the very best learning opportunities for staff and students through a collaborative approach to professional learning and research.

DTSA offers a wide range of opportunities in the following areas:

-Initial Teacher Training (ITT)

-Continuing Professional Learning

-Leadership Development

-School to School Support

-Research

Please follow the 'Courses' tab above to find further details of the DTSA professional learning programmes, services and research priorities for 2017-18.  Programme outlines of some of our most popular courses can be found in the 'Documents' area below.

Please email dtsa@thomas-hardye.net for further information.
